Esaias (Isaiah) 4

Esaias (Isaiah) 4

4:1 And seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own raiment: only let thy name be called upon us, [and] take away our reproach.

4:2 And in that day Elohim shall shine gloriously in counsel on the earth, to exalt and glorify the remnant of Israel.

4:3 And it shall be, [that] the remnant left in Zion, and the remnant left in Jerusalem, [even] all that are appointed to life in Jerusalem, shall be called holy.

4:4 For Yehovah shall wash away the filth of the sons and daughters of Zion, and shall purge out the blood from the midst of them, with the spirit of judgement, and the spirit of burning.

4:5 And he shall come, and it shall be with regard to every place of mount Zion, yea, all the region round about it shall a cloud overshadow by day, and [there shall be] as it were the smoke and light of fire burning by night: and upon all the glory shall be a defence.

4:6 And it shall be for a shadow from the heat, and as a shelter and a hiding place from inclemency [of weather] and from rain.

4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

4:2 In that day shall the branch of Yehovah be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

4:4 When Yehovah shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

4:5 And Yehovah will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
