Psalm 47

Psalm 47

For the end, a Psalm for the sons of Core.

47:1 Clap your hands, all ye nations; shout to Elohim with a voice of exultation.

47:2 For Yehovah most high is terrible; [he is] a great king over all the earth.

47:3 He has subdued the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet.

47:4 He has chosen out his inheritance for us, the beauty of Jacob which he loved. Pause.

47:5 Elohim is gone up with a shout, Yehovah with a sound of a trumpet.

47:6 Sing praises to our Elohim, sing praises: sing praises to our King, sing praises.

47:7 For Elohim is king of all the earth: sing praises with understanding.

47:8 Elohim reigns over the nations: Elohim sits upon the throne of his holiness.

47:9 The rulers of the people are assembled with the Elohim of Abraam: for Elohim's mighty ones of the earth have been greatly exalted.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.

47:1 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto Elohim with the voice of triumph.

47:2 For Yehovah most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

47:3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

47:4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

47:5 Elohim is gone up with a shout, Yehovah with the sound of a trumpet.

47:6 Sing praises to Elohim, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

47:7 For Elohim is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

47:8 Elohim reigneth over the heathen: Elohim sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

47:9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the Elohim of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto Elohim: he is greatly exalted.
