Psalm 70

Psalm 70

For the end, by David for a remembrance, that Yehovah may save me.

70:1 Draw nigh, O Elohim, to my help.

70:2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, that wish me evil.

70:3 Let them that say to me, Aha, aha, be turned back and put to shame immediately.

70:4 Let all that seek thee exult and be glad in thee: and let those that love thy salvation say continually, Let Elohim be magnified.

70:5 But I am poor and needy; O Elohim, help me: thou art my helper and deliverer, O Yehovah, delay not.

To the chief Musician, A [Psalm] of David, to bring to remembrance.

70:1 Make haste, O Elohim, to deliver me; make haste to HELP me, O Yehovah.

70:2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

70:3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

70:4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let Elohim be magnified.

70:5 But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O Elohim: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Yehovah, make no tarrying.
