Psalm 146

Psalm 146

Alleluia, [a Psalm] of Aegis and Zacharias.

146:1 My soul, praise Yehovah.

146:2 While I live will I praise Yehovah: I will sing praises to my Elohim as long as I exist.

146:3 Trust not in princes, nor in the children of men, in whom there is no safety.

146:4 His breath shall go forth, and he shall return to his earth; in that day all his thoughts shall perish.

146:5 Blessed is he whose helper is the Elohim of Jacob, whose hope is in the Yehovah his Elohim:

146:6 who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all things in them: who keeps truth for ever:

146:7 who executes judgment for the wronged: who gives food to the hungry. Yehovah looses the fettered ones:

146:8 Yehovah gives wisdom to the blind: Yehovah sets up the broken down: Yehovah loves the righteous: Yehovah preserves the strangers;

146:9 he will relieve the orphan and widow: but will utterly remove the way of sinners.

146:10 Yehovah shall reign for ever, [even] thy Elohim, O Zion, to all generations.

146:1 Praise ye Yehovah. Praise Yehovah, O my soul.

146:2 While I live will I praise Yehovah: I will sing praises unto my Elohim while I have any being.

146:3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

146:5 Happy is he that hath the Elohim of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yehovah his Elohim:

146:6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

146:7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. Yehovah looseth the prisoners:

146:8 Yehovah openeth the eyes of the blind: Yehovah raiseth them that are bowed down: Yehovah loveth the righteous:

146:9 Yehovah preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

146:10 Yehovah shall reign for ever, even thy Elohim, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye Yehovah.
