Leviticus 3

Leviticus 3

3:1 And if his gift to Yehovah be a peace-offering, if he should bring it of the oxen, whether it be male or whether it be female, he shall bring it unblemished before Yehovah.

3:2 And he shall lay his hands on the head of the gift, and shall slay it before Yehovah, by the doors of the tabernacle of witness. And the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour the blood on the altar of burnt-offerings round about.

3:3 And they shall bring of the peace-offering a burnt-sacrifice to the Lord, the fat covering the belly, and all the fat on the belly.

3:4 And the two kidneys and the fat hat is upon them; he shall take away that which is on the thighs, and the caul above the liver together with the kidneys.

3:5 And the priests the sons of Aaron shall offer them on the altar on the burnt-offering, on the wood which is on the fire upon the altar: [it is] a burnt-offering, a smell of sweet savour to Yehovah.

3:6 And if his gift be of the sheep, a peace-offering to Yehovah, male or female, he shall bring it unblemished.

3:7 If he bring a lamb for his gift, he shall bring it before Yehovah.

3:8 And he shall lay his hands on the head of his offering, and shall slay it by the doors of the tabernacle of witness; and the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour out the blood on the altar round about.

3:9 And he shall bring of the peace-offering a burnt-sacrifice to Yehovah: the fat and the hinder part unblemished he shall take away with the loins, and having taken away all the fat that covers the belly, and all the fat that is on the belly,

3:10 and both the kidneys and the fat that is upon them, [and] that which is on the thighs, and the caul which is on the liver with the kidneys,

3:11 the priest shall offer these on the altar: [it is] a sacrifice of sweet savour, a burnt-offering to Yehovah.

3:12 And if his offering be of the goats, then shall he bring it before the Lord.

3:13 And he shall lay his hands on its head; and they shall slay it before Yehovah by the doors of the tabernacle of witness; and the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour out the blood on the altar round about.

3:14 And he shall offer of it a burnt-offering to Yehovah, [even] the fat that covers the belly, and all the fat that is on the belly.

3:15 And both the kidneys, and all the fat that is upon them, that which is upon the thighs, and the caul of the liver with the kidneys, shall he take away.

3:16 And the priest shall offer it upon the altar: [it is] a burnt-offering, a smell of sweet savour to Yehovah. All the fat [belongs] to Yehovah.

3:17 [It is] a perpetual statute throughout your generations, in all your habitations; y shall eat no fat and no blood.

3:1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before Yehovah.

3:2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

3:3 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto Yehovah; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

3:4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

3:5 And Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Yehovah.

3:6 And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto Yehovah be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

3:7 If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the Yehovah.

3:8 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

3:9 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto Yehovah; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

3:10 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

3:11 And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto Yehovah.

3:12 And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before Yehovah.

3:13 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.

3:14 And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto Yehovah; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

3:15 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

3:16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savor: all the fat is Yehovah's.

3:17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
