Psalm 126

Psalm 126

A Song of Degrees.

126:1 When Yehovah turned the captivity of Zion, we became as comforted ones.

126:2 Then was our mouth filled with joy, and our tongue with exultation: then would they say among the Gentiles, Yehovah has done great things among them.

126:3 Yehovah has done great things for us, we became joyful.

126:4 Turn, O Yehovah, our captivity, as the steams in the south.

126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

126:6 They went on and wept as they cast their seeds; but they shall surely come with exultation, bringing their sheaves [with them].

A Song of degrees.

126:1 When Yehovah turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

126:2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, Yehovah hath done great things for them.

126:3 Yehovah hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

126:4 Turn again our captivity, O Yehovah, as the streams in the south.

126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
